The sixty foot MV Sea Star is fully licensed and complies with all Coast Guard regulations, maintaining the highest standards of safety and preparedness. These standards include annual inspections and certification by the US Coast Guard and ongoing training of the captain and crew. All crew personnel are required by the Coast Guard to undergo random drug tests.
The Sea Star is powered by environmentally friendly very low exhaust emitting diesel engines fueled by R99 non-petroleum based renewable diesel fuel.
